Music Video- The first clear idea that comes to mind is a musician that wakes up in his bed with part of a musical instrument laying next to him or her. He gets up and follows a trial of clues to find another piece of the instrument. The actor keeps walking around a house or perhaps in the streets and keeps finding the pieces to put everything together. So towards the end of the song or video, he has everything he needs to play the instrument. In the final scene, he's playing along with the music. The idea is that he or she is confused and feel incomplete without musical performance.

Documentary Video- I am a environmentalist and I truly believe that it is import that everyone in this world recycles to preserve our environment of what we have left. If I was to create an eye opener, it would be about the landfill and how bad it is. I'm thinking that if we could get an opportunity to interview certain places that have information about the pollution that is going on today and what it may look like in the future, it could make a serious documentary. We could interview reps of the NRDC or local landfill facilities.

Narrative Video: I'm having a hard time thinking of an idea for narrative, but I'm proposing that we do a story of a private owned company. It could discuss how they manage to stay successful through the rough economy and how it started to begin with. It should be a company that is popular and most people that go their are satisfied with the service. I work at Goshen Floor Mart and it may have some history to it and they said they wouldn't mind if we did a project their. However, I'm guessing that the group may want to find a company that is local in Southbend and not super far away so the project can be done as quickly as possible.

Your music video concept is great. It's exactly what makes a good music video - a blend of conceptual approach mixed with narrative. You have two doc ideas for the landfill and the business. In order to turn the floor mart into a narrative you would need to create a fictional story around someone who works there.
